Hi I am Maggie,  a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor/Psychotherapist and EMDR therapist. I offer confidential remote video therapy. Remote Teletherapy makes it convenient to participate and provides an environment where you feel most comfortable. I am an EMDR therapist, which can help alleviate emotional disruption due to adverse life experiences and trauma. We will work together to help you gain healthier skills for improved daily functioning in all areas of your life.  I take the time to gain an understanding of you and your personal life experiences. I provide experienced trauma informed therapy including EMDR. I use a variety of evidence based approaches focused on your unique life experiences and strengths, therapy is customized to work with the whole person that makes up YOU. I am in the final dissertation process of earning a Doctor of Psychology with emphasis in Health and Wellness. I am certified in trauma informed yoga and mindfulness meditation. I believe in the healing effects of nature and that we each have our own unique ability to gain awareness and take action to connect with our inner healing. Adding to the role cognitions play in affecting emotions and behaviors and how trauma shapes the way we live in the world.  I am experienced in working with trauma and understand the lasting effects that impact/interferes with optimal wellness. Healing from narcissistic relationships, toxic patterns, and early attachment wounds stemming from childhood trauma are a few areas I specialize in. Mind Body Connection 

Our minds affect how healthy are bodies are. Focusing on the mind body connection and healing the whole person can lead to a life of increased happiness and fulfillment! Thus helping achieve ones highest potential and increase overall well being.

Mindfulness Cognitive Therapy

Recognized as an effective treatment for trauma anxiety and depression. This is a modified form of cognitive therapy incorporating the use of mindfulness practices such as meditation and breath work, which helps break away from negative thought patterns and leads to more self awareness, self control and self acceptance.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
 A form of CBT where the goals are to learn how to live in the moment, to cope healthily with stress, to learn how to regulate emotions, and to help improve relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT leads to an understanding and changing of attitudes and behavior by focusing on our own thoughts, images, and beliefs, and how these processes affect behavior in dealing with emotional challenges.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
Evidence based therapy to heal from symptoms of emotional distress due to disturbing life experiences. A focused approach to treating trauma and other symptoms such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

Somatic Therapy
Helps understand the mind body connection. Addresses how ailments and emotional memory are stored in many places in our bodies. Works to release anger, frustrations, and other emotions from the body from negative past experiences. Effective for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, addiction, abuse, and relationship Issues.
